The Health and Wellbeing Board met on 10th May for a lively discussion about the roles and responsibilities of the board. The role, function and operation of the board were discussed and actions agreed in terms of next steps:
– Aligning the work of the Health and Wellbeing Board to the place based model
– Developing ‘Plans on a page’ to better understand work streams being delivered by the board
– Engagement of residents and VCSE organisations, and effective communication so people know what the board is doing
– Working on themes which cross-cut across all of the three strategic boards: Health and Wellbeing Board, Inclusive Growth Board and Strong Communities Board
These will be discussed in more detail at the next meeting along with Trafford’s Long Term Plan for Health and Social Care.
