Recycle for Greater Manchester’s (R4GM) Community Fund for 2021/22 is launching on 1st April 2021 – Open to VCFSEs/ Charities and Schools

Recycle for Greater Manchester’s (R4GM) Community Fund for 2021/22 is launching on 1st April 2021. The fund is a joint initiative between R4GM and Suez to support Greater Manchester Community and Voluntary sector groups to deliver projects that help to reduce household waste in Greater Manchester. The fund aims to support projects which prevent, reuse, or recycle household waste, as well as reduce contamination, promote sustainable use of waste and resources, and generate wider social benefits for the communities of Greater Manchester.

There are two funding awards available:
• Council level award: This award is for projects that will benefit individual council areas within Greater Manchester. A maximum amount £10,000 per project is available
• Greater Manchester level award: This award is for projects that cover more than one council area. A maximum amount £20,000 per project is available

The Community Fund 2021-22 will be open for submission of applications from Thursday 1 April until 31 May 2021. A copy of the application form can be downloaded from the R4GM website. Please note that the application form can be downloaded and completed now, but cannot be submit for consideration until 1 April 2021 at the earliest.

Applications are welcome from Community, Faith and Voluntary Sector organisations such as community groups, registered charities and schools. R4GM Community Fund.
