Trafford Digital Support, Training Skills and ESOL Offer Information Session – 9th June 2021 at 10am to 11am
Join us on online via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 9th June 2021 at 10am to 11am for a short introduction to what is available for local residents and frontline workers to access in terms of Digital Equipment, Digital Skills support, Training & Skills Courses and the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages).

As Digital Champion and Volunteer Coordinator Holly is passionate about empowering individuals to get online. She is responsible for the libraries laptop lending scheme which launched in March 2021 and is looking to expand her Digital Champions Network to include external partners who work closely with their communities.
Hear from Rachel Kemp, Trafford Council's Outreach Skills Information Officer.
Rachel Kemp is Trafford Council’s Outreach Skills Information Officer. Since taking up the role, she has produced a comprehensive skills brochure, set up a dedicated skills enquiries email and will soon be starting monthly skills drop in sessions in targeted areas across the borough. She works with partner organisations to get the best employment support for Trafford residents. She is the point of contact at the council for providers and the public relating to all things skills.
Hear from Steph Carter, Trafford Council's ESOL Coordinator.
Steph is the new ESOL Coordinator (English for Speakers of Other Languages) for Trafford Council. She is a dedicated and experienced English language teacher, and now works for the council to coordinate and promote inclusive ESOL courses across the area. She is keen to connect with local organisations to discuss facilities for the ESOL community, and how we can remove barriers for people to improve their English language skills.
