Mustard Tree is seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to contribute to our Board of Trustees – including people with financial, legal and/or Health and Social care expertise.
We are keen to recruit trustees who represent our communities and the people who participate in our services. To add to the expertise of our charity, we are particularly interested in speaking to people who have personal experience of homelessness, the immigration system and/ or who have knowledge of Muslim culture.
This is a significant opportunity to help the Charity move into the next stage of its development and represents the biggest Trustee recruitment drive in our 30-year history.
For over 30 years Mustard Tree has been supporting and creating opportunities for the most disadvantaged communities in Greater Manchester. In recent years we have become established as one of the most significant charities in the region working to combat poverty and homelessness.
The charity operates from Ancoats, with smaller hubs across Eccles and Little Hulton.
We have a committed, expert, and motivated team in place and are looking for an equally committed individual to join us. Our new Trustees will be confident in working at board level, experienced at building strategies with senior teams, motivated to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged and committed to partnership working.
As this is a voluntary role, this is an opportunity to make a genuinely life-changing difference to individuals and communities across Greater Manchester, utilizing your experience and skill set to help lead the charity into the next stage of our development.
