Trafford Community Collective is a local independent community interest company based in Trafford, whose role and function is to promote, support and connect the Voluntary, Charity, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector in Trafford, with a view to maximising the sector’s impact in the development and delivery of community based services for Trafford residents.
We work in partnership with Trafford Council, Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and the NHS to lead innovative new ways to tackle health inequalities and strive for everyone in Trafford to get the best opportunities in life, and welcome new opportunities to recognise, value and celebrate our communities and the amazing people that live and work within them.
We are seeking to add new talent to our trustee board, who have overseen our launch and forming phase over the last three years, with a view to broadening the range of professional and experiential skills and knowledge within the trustee team . We are looking forprofessionals with backgrounds in the finance/economics, legal, healthcare, fundraising, consultancy or commercial sectors who also possess some experience of the VCFSE sector.
In partnership with our current trustees and the senior leadership of the Collective and our members, you will not only help develop a medium to long term strategy to strengthen and grow the VCFSE sector in Trafford but you will influence local decision making, work with others to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged in our borough and help the sector achieve great things for our people and communities in Trafford.
