Volunteer Drivers, Cracking Good Food

Are you available to help on Thursdays?

Are you happy to spend a few minutes chatting to the folk you deliver to?

Our Volunteer Drivers are more than just people that deliver meals for our NOSHH programme (Nutritional Options-Staying Healthy at Home). They are a key part of our team and deliver directly to people at home, helping them to help themselves, into health.

Us-Cracking Good Food launched in 2010, with the aim of encouraging and supporting more people to cook affordable, seasonal and nutritious homemade food from scratch; we also have various cooking endeavours in communities across Greater Manchester.

You -Will be over 18 years old with a valid driving licence and your own vehicle. Have 2 to a maximum of 3 hours availability on a Thursday. Drivers will be compensated for petrol at 45 pence per mile

Facts-Picking up pre-packaged fresh and frozen meals from EMERGE M11 2WJ, to distribute to individuals recently released from hospital or living in food insecurity in the local community using your own vehicle.
