Big Lottery – ‘Awards For All’ Offer Funding Support Through E-Learning For Third Sector Groups

Awards for All webinars are currently taking place every Thursday at 3pm and the Big Lottery are currently in the process of rolling out outcomes and evidencing need sessions.

What is a webinar?

Webinars are interactive seminars run over the internet. Training is interactive and provides an opportunity to learn in a place that suits you without the expense and time of travel. You will require access to a PC, tablet or laptop with internet connection and headphones (optional) in order to participate in a webinar.

Why should I attend a Webinar and what are the benefits?

The Big Lottery offer an online presentation giving information and guidance on the Awards for All Programme presented by friendly and informative Funding Officers from the Big Lottery fund. They will talk you through eligibility criteria and what they could help to pay for, explore ideas on projects they are looking to fund, show how to best evidence the need and impact of your project and provide hints and tips on how to put together your application including outcomes which you can link directly to the questions on the application form. They give you access to the most up to date information on the programme and examples of sources of evidence, as well as the opportunity to ask questions during the seminar through an interactive chat panel.

Many customers have fed back that they have picked up valuable information and tips from other e-learners, which they may not have previously considered. You can sit back relax in the comfort of your own home, office or your local cafe and join the e learning at your leisure.

How do I register for a webinar?

To register please email webinars@biglotteryfund.org.uk or telephone 0845 410 20 30 to book a place on the webinar.
Once you have registered, you will receive an email approx 1 day before the webinar is due to take place. This email will contain a link to join the webinar and a handy guide to getting set up correctly.

How long do they last and how frequently do they run?

Webinars take place every Thursday at 3pm and last approx 40 minutes. They allow up to a maximum on 15 customers in any one session, to ensure they can answer any questions in a timely manner and you receive the best possible advice.
