Free Services Provided To Families Who Are Concerned About Anothers Use Of Substances

At The Counselling and Family Centre we understand that someone using substances can affect the whole family and how people behave and relate to each other.  Our family service is run by qualified counsellors who are experienced at working with addictions We offer the following FREE services to people affected by substance/alcohol use of a person they care about:

(We do not work with the individual with the substance problem although if they are stable in their recovery process or treatment we would see them with the other family members if that was desired and assessed as being useful to the family as a whole at the time of counselling.) This is an 8 week free group that provides an opportunity to gain advice and support from qualified counsellors and other family members suffering from a concerned others addiction through both personal experience and sharing of knowledge and information. The group will cover the following topics Group 1 Group 2 Group 3 Group 4 Group 5 Group 6 Group 7 Group 8 The Families and Addiction Service is confidential and we are not affiliated to any treatment facility or social services department unless it is felt that a child, young person or vulnerable adult is at risk of harm.
