GMCVO Want Your Feedback – Survey of Skills Needs of VCSE Organisations
GMCVO are carrying out a research project to identify the skills needs of voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations.
Strengthening social enterprise activity can help all of Greater Manchester’s communities to benefit from economic growth. However, in order to ensure that social entrepreneurs – whether based in charities or in small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) – are supported adequately, a picture of the skills base and current and future skills needs of the voluntary, community social enterprise sector is required.
The Skills Funding Agency has funded GMCVO to undertake the research. The results of which will be shared and the information given in the survey will inform the future development of social enterprise support across Greater Manchester.
