Help shape the future of your local NHS

Trafford CCG is the organisation responsible for deciding how taxpayers' money is spent on health care for Trafford residents. We wish to set up a Public Reference and Advisory Panel The Panel will represent the views of the Trafford population. It will contribute to strategic thinking by: debate, discussion, challenge, support and advice on clinical and commissioning decisions, policy and performance. No medical or clinical knowledge is required. Full training and support will be provided to enable newly-appointed members to play a full part. • Do you care about how your local health service is planned? • Do you understand your local community and the surrounding area? If yes, then we need you! We are looking for a broad range of applicants aged 16 and over for: • 4 vacancies for members of public recruited from the Trafford area • 4 vacancies nominated from Trafford third sector organisations • 4 vacancies nominated from Trafford GP Patient Participation Groups You will be required to commit to approximately 2-3 hours per month, made up of attendance at one meeting every other month (lasting 2 hours and background reading and preparation in advance of meetings). These are unpaid positions but reimbursement to cover expenses will be available (subject to agreement). If you are interested in applying, you will need to complete an expression of interest form.
