Open Invitation to Trafford Council's Meet the Buyer Event: Advocacy, Information and Advice, Prevention and Wellbeing.

Commissioners within the Children’s Families and Wellbeing department of Trafford Council are seeking to consolidate much of its existing Voluntary and Community sector services into three specific lots:

  • Lot One: Advocacy
  • Lot Two: Information and Advice
  • Lot Three: Prevention and Wellbeing


  • To facilitate this Trafford Council are hosting a meet the buyer event where those in attendance will learn further detail in regards to the tender exercise including detail relating to:
  • Background
  • Moving forward
  • Scope of the three lots
  • Procurement process
  • Timeline
  • Support


  • If you are experienced in the delivery of the above services, are passionate about social inclusion, equality and social justice, and are actively committed to exploring innovative new models of service delivery with a commitment to continual improvement of the service delivery with a wish to deliver such services to Trafford’s residents, Trafford Council want to hear from you.
  • When: The event will be held on Thursday 14th May 2015 at 13:00 – 16:00
  • Where: Urmston Library, Room 1, Unit 34, Golden Way, Urmston, Manchester M41 0NA
  • Who by: The event will be facilitated by Trafford Council Commissioners with support from colleagues in Procurement and representatives from Thrive who provide support to third sector organisations.
  • Who for: Service providers wishing to learn more about the upcoming tender exercise.
