Revitalising the Trafford Talks Health Network – Trafford Clinical Commissioning Group
Trafford Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) holds the NHS budget for purchasing health services in the borough.
Having set up the ‘Trafford Talks Health network’ in January 2010 which keeps hundreds of local people update with development in health care, Trafford CCG have revitalised current methods to sign people up to the network.
By using the new online tool ‘My NHS’ the CCG aims to increase membership to ensure they have a wide representation of views, opinions and feedback on areas of health provision which are of interest to them.
Dr Chris Tower, local GP at Davyhulme Medical Centre and Associate Clinical Director at Trafford CCG, said: “We actively welcome and encourage patient and public involvement in the work at the CCG as our population all have a vital role to play in helping us design local health services.”
People can become involved in a number of ways including attending meetings and events, sharing views through focus groups or online surveys or simply subscribing to receive the latest CCG news and updates.
Membership of the Trafford Talks Health Network is completely free, without obligation and people can cancel their registration at any time.
Personal details will be kept confidentially and will not be shared with third party organisations.
