Safer Communities Pilot for Out of Hours Working

Trafford Council’s Safer Communities team are piloting an out of hours scheme by making an officer available on alternative Friday evenings, 7pm to 3am and during the day on Saturdays, 9am to 5pm.

Safer Communities want to provide access for members of the public who would otherwise find it difficult to make contact with the service regarding anti-social behaviour or crime and disorder during normal working hours. This new service will also support colleagues in GMP who work a variety of shifts.

Within this pilot, the team are looking at setting up pop-up surgeries on Saturday mornings across the borough at venues that will be easily accessible to members of the public.

The first surgery will be held on Saturday 31st January at Cafe Noesis, on Higher Road in Urmston from 9am to 1pm.

If you have any concerns regarding anti-social behaviour or crime and disorder in Trafford please feel free to come along and discuss these with one of the Safer Communities Officers.

Other surgeries are in the process of being set up. If you are able to provide a suitable venue in your community that could be used to hold a pop up surgery please contact Kate Loboda, Anti Social Behaviour Officer in Trafford Councils Community Safety Service to discuss this and make arrangements.
You can contact Kate directly either by phone 0161 9123430 or via email at kate.loboda@trafford.gov.uk

Alternatively, if you are unable to attend a surgery but wish to discuss matters of anti social behaviour, please make contact with Kate.
