Trafford Enterprise Network Announce Their Next Network Meeting

Blue Orchid and Trafford council are pleased to announce the next Trafford Enterprise Network meeting. Trafford Enterprise Network is an opportunity for local businesses to get together, listen to expert speakers on a range of topics and network. The next session will be held at the Life Centre, Washway Rd in Sale from 10am-12 noon on Wednesday 23rd October. Yasmin Hinds,a solicitor with over 15 years' industry experience, will be talking about data protection and business responsibilities. The session will discuss data protection, privacy regulation, and bribery, corruption and money laundering. The main session will be followed by informal networking. Councillor Michael Hyman, Executive Member for Economic Growth and Prosperity said; "I am delighted to be involved with this new business initiative. Starting up in business can be an exciting and challenging time, and these events give local entrepreneurs the opportunity to network and learn from each other". Blue Orchid, the business start-up agency, is running the events in partnership with Trafford Council's Economic Growth Team. Frank Lavery, Area Manager of Blue Orchid, said: "Networking is an important part of the survival of any business and I am sure everyone who attends will gain some really valuable insight into the implications of data protection laws for small businesses".
