TRAFFORD, GORSE HILL - Total partnership fund available is up to £100,000. The Collective is actively encouraging local groups and partnerships to explore this fantastic opportunity and to work together in a partnership of voluntary, community & social enterprise organisations to develop aspirations, opportunities, wellbeing, relationships and belonging in the Gorse Hill community. Trafford, Gorse Hill is administering the community-led approaches programme with the Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit (VRU), and 10GM. As part of this programme significant funding is now available for organisations with strong connections with Gorse Hill Trafford - the total partnership fund available is up to £100,000. Applicants for grants are open to UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland mainland only) aged 16 years or over.  All applicants need to do is share the exceptional contribution that a local organisation has made to their local community and what the grant would be used for. The grants will be given based on the strength of the applicant’s story, the recipient’s levels of dedication to their community and the credibility of what the grant would be spent on and its impact for the local community. The following are not eligible for funding:

Applications open on the 2nd May 2024 at 12pm. All applications from locally managed community groups based in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester are welcome to apply for the funding. Forever Manchester believes that connected communities make stronger, happier communities, so we love any activity that brings people together. Forever Manchester Awards support groups to run activities that do just this. Forever Manchester Awards aims to support grassroots community organisations. This means small, community-based and locally controlled groups that manage themselves, encourage people to get involved as volunteers and who just need a bit of financial help to be able to work with their community in the way they’d like. Applicants must be based in one of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester and have an annual income of less than £25,000. Deadline: Midday Thursday 23rd May 2024. For further information and to apply visit: Triangle Trust 1949 Fund - Is delighted to announce that our first funding opportunity for 2024 is now open. This will focus on supporting work with young women and girls and only be open to organisations that are led by and for women and girls. They are looking to fund work with young women and girls who are either already caught up in the criminal justice system or are highly vulnerable and likely to enter it. Ultimately, projects will need to either be working towards reducing reoffending behaviours or first convictions. Work can take place with young women and girls between the ages of 11 and 30 and they are particularly interested in funding projects that are working with young women and girls who are care experienced, come from Black or minoritized/racialised communities and work that is led by people with lived experience. Deadline: 12pm 27th May 2024 For more information and to apply, please visit: Lloyds Bank Foundation – Racial equity programme funding of £75,000. Our racial equity programme is now open to applications! Its purpose is to support small local charities and CICs which are led by and working with people who are experiencing economic inequity because of their race or ethnicity. This programme offers a range of tailored development support and unrestricted funding of £75,000 over three years. Deadline: Funding will end 2027. For more information and to apply visit: Apply for funding under the racial equity programme ( Acre Grants - Between £2,000 and £5,000 to help make improvements to rural community buildings in England. This is the latest release of the £3 million grant fund announced by government in May 2022 in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee. Grants are intended to support smaller capital projects in village halls such as boiler replacements, insulation, toilet upgrades and new kitchens. Awards can be made to cover 20% of eligible project costs, up to a maximum amount of £5,000. The balance of funding for the works proposed must be in place, or at least confirmed within 6 weeks of making an application to small grants fund. Closing Date: The fund is expected to stay open until December 2024, however it may be withdrawn before this. For more information and to apply visit: Village halls small grants fund - ACRE. National Lottery – New Climate Action Fund. The Climate Action Fund is supporting communities across the UK to take action on climate change. They want to involve more people in climate action. And to inspire bold and exciting change. From Wednesday 27th March 2024 you can apply for funding from the Climate Action Fund to help do this. They will fund projects that reach more people by either: Linking climate action to the everyday lives and interests of local communities. And inspiring them to take action. And Influencing communities at a regional or national level. Like linking up groups across locations. Or a campaign that inspires change across one country, or the whole UK.
