Fred Varden, well known in Partington for his enthusiasm and determination to help support local residents young and old in the Partington Community was recognised for his lifetime achievements of community work in Partington, at Partington’s first community celebration awards last night – ‘Celebrate Partington’.
Fred is passionate about all things Partington and supporting local causes which are close to his heart, alongside another passion of his, which is writing Poetry. Fred has combined his love of writing poetry with supporting local causes and has created a poetry book, which is being donated to everyone who donates via Fred’s ‘Just Giving’ page to raise vital funds for Parkinsons UK and Radio Wishing Well.
