The new Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) is currently drafting an over-arching strategy which sets out the blueprint for health and care in GM over the next five years.
To ensure the Integrated Care Partnership (formerly the CCG) gets this strategy right, Thrive Trafford and Trafford Community Collective (along with the other GM Boroughs) have been asked to gain the views of a diverse range of our VCFSEs in Trafford. This is part of a wider exercise gathering feedback from communities and residents, called the Big Conversation. This follows a first phase earlier this year which involved a digital survey The Big Conversation: chance to talk about health and care in Greater Manchester. – GMHSC The aim of this second phase is to specifically target those who are most likely to need and access health and care services to ensure the ICP has heard from them. This is where you come in, we would like to invite you to attend a meeting with other local VCFSEs we are targeting to ensure a cross section of views based on your knowledge of the communities and clients you serve.
We would therefore like to invite you to attend one of the Big Conversation meetings with us and other local VCFSEs on either:
Friday 28th October at 10am to 11:30am at The Old Library, Stretford Public Hall, Chester Road, Stretford or
Friday 4th November 2022 at 10am to 11:30am at The Old Library, Stretford Public Hall, Chester Road, Stretford
The Big Conversation covers 4 main questions on the priorities, opinions, and barriers of the communities you represent. This will then feed into the ICP Strategy and the People and Communities Engagement Framework.
