ESF COMMUNITY GRANTS – GREATER MANCHESTER 2019-2021

Are you a third sector organisation run on a not for profit basis, including:

  • Constituted Voluntary / Community Group
  • Social Enterprise (Not For Profit)
  • Registered Charity
  • Community Interest Company (CIC)
  • Company Limited By Guarantee

Do you employ no more than 20 full time equivalent staff AND have an annual turnover under £1,000,000 [ £1M]

Has your organisation been in operation for a min of 12 months

Does your organisation have a Governing Document/Constitution?

If so, you could be eligible to apply for a grant of up to £20,000.

Over the next two years, the ESF Community grant programme will help thousands of people who face additional barriers in the workplace to improve their employability and gain permanent employment.

The WEA will distribute small grants of up to £20,000 across Greater Manchester to eligible organisations in the VCSE sector between June 2019 and May 2021. Funded activities will target those aged 15 and over, from the hardest to reach communities

The funding can help all who are out of work but especially those that:
• Are homeless or at risk of being homeless
• Have low or no qualification
• Lack literacy and numeracy skills
• Are lone parents
• Have disabilities, learning difficulties or health conditions
• Are women
• Are from ethnic minorities
• Are aged over 50

This programme covers the 10 Greater Manchester boroughs

Round 1 of ESF for Greater Manchester is open until Wednesday 24th July 2019
There are 3 more rounds of funding which will open after each previous funding round closes.
