Partington Moving: Local Pilot Community Ideas and Proposals – Challenge Summary
Working together, with partners to develop sustainable opportunities for people to engage in regular physical activity:

  • Work with or can develop opportunities to support our 3 core groups
  • 5-18 Yrs outside of the curriculum
  • 40-60 Yrs with long-term conditions*
  • The unemployed or those at risk of becoming unemployed



    • * Specifically cancer, cardiovascular disease and respiratory disorders

    You will need to work together to;

  • Develop a proposal
  • Detail the costs
  • Explain who’s involved and how
  • Identify who is going to lead the project

    • Once a proposal has been developed the group or a representative will need to present it to the Vision 31 Steering Group in Partington for endorsement.

    The proposal must clearly demonstrate how it will engage one of the three core groups with long-term conditions in sustainable activity.

    Proposals should work on a budget that does not exceed £5,000.
    Criteria for applying;

  • Constituted Group or Groups (Charity/ Trust/CIC/CIO/Community Sports Club or Community Group)
  • Based in Trafford and support Trafford residents
  • Work with or can develop opportunities to support our 3 core groups:
  • 5-18 Yrs outside of the curriculum
  • 40-60 Yrs with long-term conditions
  • The unemployed or those at risk of becoming unemployed
