Public consultation event on Stretford Mall – Saturday 25th January 2020 between 8am to 6pm.
You may recall that the Council held a community drop-in event last November on the future of Stretford Mall.
This event was really well attended and they had some very interesting and useful conversations with attendees. Having considered the feedback received during this event, they would like to invite you to a public consultation event to share with you their latest thoughts on the future of the Mall. In addition, Trafford Council are preparing an Area Action Plan for Stretford and they are keen to discuss the future of the wider town centre and surrounding areas with the local community.
Therefore they will be hosting a combined consultation event at Stretford Mall on Saturday 25th January between 8am and 6pm. As this will be a drop-in session, you are welcome to attend at any time.
If you are unable to attend, more information will be made available on www.stretfordmall.co.uk from Saturday 25th January.
As part of the event, they would like to create a local community ‘memory wall’ within the Mall and they would welcome your involvement. If you are able to, please do bring along any pictures, newspaper clippings or words that represent your favourite memories of Stretford. They will then copy them and add them to the memory wall.
