Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) are inviting Trafford’s Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector to express their interest in bidding for a new Trafford Peer Support/ Link Worker service for Trafford residents referred to the Primary Care Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.
The Expression of Interest (EOI) for the new VCSE-Led Peer Support/Link Worker Service is being facilitated by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH). The contract will be between the successful Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (sector) VCSE Provider and Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is prepared to receive expressions of interest from the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (sector) for the provision of a Peer Support/Link Worker service which will support referrals to the Primary Care Mental Health & Wellbeing Service (PCMHWS) and deliver peer support for those service users identified as requiring peer support.
Following a meeting of the Health and Wellbeing Collective Working Group yesterday, the Working Group would like to get together any VCSE organisations interested in developing a collaborative response to the Trafford Primary Care Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PCMHWS) – Peer Link Worker Service brief.
This meeting will take place at Age UK Trafford, The Sharples Building, 1-3 Church Road, Urmston, Manchester M41 9EH on Wednesday 20th February at 3.30pm.

There is an application process and GMMH will take the decision on the successful provider based on which provider offers the best fit to the service specification.
