Trafford is looking to transform the way Homecare is commissioned and delivered. Trafford Council’s Homecare Commissioning team are hosting a market engagement event for current and prospective providers around two proposed tenders on:
Date and time: 29th April, 2pm – 4pm
Venue: Trafford Town Hall
The session will provide an opportunity to learn more about the proposed tenders for:
1. A workforce training and development offer – particularly relevant for any VCSE organisations who offer training that could be pertinent to homecare providers, or who coordinate training programmes in general.
2. Trafford Assisted Discharge Service – particularly relevant to VCSE organisations who work with hospitals currently, ones with a transport arm, organisations who offer practical support to make people safer in their home, such as handy people services, decluttering, help with gas/electricity/water/making the home habitable
The session will cover:

· Indicative tender timeline
· Social Value requirement
· Question and answer session
