Together with a number of TfGM partners and volunteer groups, TfGM are bringing you a variety of events and rides throughout February and March aimed at empowering more women to saddle up and make more journeys by bike throughout Greater Manchester.
Pick a cycle squad to join on a commuter journey into Manchester or a social ride on the often scenic off-road routes.
Skill up with cycle training or a maintenance course.
Or let us persuade you to give cycling a go with women who have been there, done that at our social events.
Women’s cycling commuter led rides
For five consecutive Thursday mornings, between 22 February and 22 March, led rides will be commencing from 4 districts within GM. The rides will present an opportunity for those wishing to commute into Manchester by bike and aim to build the confidence of those that attend. Emphasis will be on the social element of the rides and establishing a bike commute routine.

Women’s cycling social evening
A social evening that will be taking place next week. The social evening will be for those looking to start / return to cycling and need a kick start and some friendly support to stimulate interest in the opportunities cycling can offer. The evenings is aimed at anybody who wants to get on their bike, but just needs that little extra push to make it happen.
