Social Enterprise Support and Networks

“A social enterprise is an organisation that applies commercial strategies to maximise improvements in human and environmental well-being – this may include maximising social impact rather than profits for external shareholders.”

Thrive is supporting the establishment of social enterprises across Trafford including providing advice to individuals, existing organisations, and new mutual/spin out opportunities working closely with Trafford Council Transformation & Resources.

Thrive over the past few years have run Social Enterprise Start-up & Support Network events to support new and existing Social Enterprises in Trafford. Thrive continues to support each Social Entrepreneur through one-to-one Capacity Building support.

Social enterprises are also being supported through links to private sector peer mentoring opportunities through our work with businesses in Trafford, if you are interested in being part of a newly forming Trafford Social Enterprise Network please email info@thrivetrafford.org.uk to register your interest in joining.
