Covid-19 VCSE PPE & Health & Safety Information, Advice and Guidance / Public Health Q&A session on Thursday 2nd July 2020 at 1pm to 2pm

With many parts of the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise Sector re-opening after the Covid-19 lockdown; attention is turning to how this can be done safely and with minimal risk.

In most cases (outside the medical field) social distancing will provide adequate protection without the need for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment, like masks and gloves). To find out more about PPE Guidance for your Voluntary or Community Organisation please Click Here to view Trafford Council’s Public Health VCSE PPE Guidance.

However, if you’re providing an essential service that can’t be done with social distancing, emergency PPE can be provided by Trafford Council for VCSE groups that are low on supplies or at risk of running out.

If your group requires emergency PPE please email to anna.jones@trafford.gov.uk for a PPE form, she will then contact you to discuss your needs.

We would also like to invite you to join our online Covid-19 VCSE PPE Guidance Information and Q&A session on Thursday 2nd July 2020 at 1pm to 2pm with Peter Davey Trafford Public Health Registrar to find out about the current Government Public Health guidance for your Voluntary, Community, Faith Group or Social Enterprise organisation.

As the lockdown restrictions ease and activities and services start to return we wanted to give you the opportunity to find out and ask questions around what PPE and other Public Health guidelines will be needed for your group or organisation.

If you can’t make the session for any reasons but would still like to put forward some questions for the Public Health team please email your questions to me on caroline.lewis@thrivetrafford.org.uk no later than 5:30pm on Wednesday 1st July 2020.
