Have Your Say on Longford Park Bid – to redevelop facilities in the park
As you may already be aware, the Council are developing a major bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund to improve Longford Park in Stretford for all current and potential users. Trafford Council’s consultation and visitor observation work so far has identified people with health deprivation/inactive population/disabilities/social isolation as target audiences, so they’d like to understand how they could attract a wider range of users to the park through the project by improving facilities and offering events and activities.
A short survey link is below, along with a QR code, plus a link to the project web page with details of what is being proposed. Open to any groups or individuals in the areas around Stretford, Firswood, Old Trafford and Gorse Hill in particular. The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete.
Deadline for surveys to be completed by 31st March 2023. The lottery bid is submitted at the end of May, with a result being announced in September.
