Stretford Food Hall Zero Waste Information

‘As a company we strive to minimize waste and environmental impact across all sites. Each fraction of our business is carefully analysed to ensure the appropriate action is taken to eliminate the use of non-disposable plastics and other environmentally harmful materials and using this ethos we have implemented and continue to improve upon our zero-waste refillable stations. After an overwhelming response to both our detergent and edible refill stations at our Stretford Store, this is now something we will be introducing across our other sites as we continue to improve our zero-waste program with the ultimate aim of becoming completely plastic free in the near future. We actively encourage our clientele to bring their own containers to re-fill with everyday essential items such as; washing up liquid, detergents, shampoo, sugar, flour, oats, lentils and dried fruits at a competitive price point and in a quantity that will not be wasted. This is only a small part of a much bigger picture that we have planned for the coming months and years and with the ongoing support of the Trafford Community we can continually improve and expand our zero-waste offering and raise awareness of the importance of minimizing plastic pollution for future generations.’
