The University of Manchester’s Volunteering and Social Justice Fair Returns!
What’s it all about?
It’s a full day dedicated to showcasing your volunteering opportunities to our students.
Why should I sign up?
You’ll meet lots of students interested in volunteering and have the chance to tell them more about your organisation and volunteering opportunities.
Need more convincing? You’ll also be able to:
– Network with other organisation
– Meet the Volunteering & Community Engagement Team and see how we can support you
– Get free tea, coffee and lunch!
“The Fair has become an essential part of our year here at Barnabus – providing us with enthusiastic volunteers with daytime availability. Our students often become big ambassadors for the charity taking part in fundraising and encouraging their friends to get involved.”
Neil Cornthwaite, Operations Manager at Barnabus
On: Tuesday 15th October 2019
Location: Manchester Academy, Oxford Road, Manchester
Set up for organisations: From 10:00 – doors will open to students at 11:00 prompt, so stands must be ready by 10:30. You’ll have the chance to chat to other organisations before the doors open.
Event closes: 16:00
Please register your interest in attending by Friday 23 August. Places won’t be allocated first-come-first-served; instead we’ll be looking to showcase a wide variety of organisations to our students. We’ll be in touch at the start of September to confirm places.
Please only register your interest if you can stay for the full day, as places are limited and the event is normally oversubscribed. It’s free for charities and not-for-profit organisations to exhibit at the Fair but you must register your interest in attending.
